This means that <i>Cavernulicola</i>, <i>Cavernulicolaceae</i>, and <i>Cavernulicolales</i> are likewise invalid names under the provisions of the International Code of Nomenclature for algae, fungi, and plants (ICN, Shenzhen Code). Validation of the names Cavernulicolales, Cavernulicolaceae, Cavernulicola, and Cavernulicola chilensis (Rhodophyta)
