Peluang Transformasi Pekerja Informal Menuju Pekerja Formal Di Kota Bandung

Indonesia is still undergoing stages or processes to build a better economy so that it becomes a developed country. Labor has an important role in the economic development process. Government policies in infrastructure and governance, labor are key factors that can encourage and accelerate the rise and fall of an economy's competitiveness. In Indonesia, workers are divided into 2, namely formal workers and informal workers. The method in this research is quantitative descriptive with primary and secondary data sources. This research explains that welfare based on consumption patterns has a negative and significant effect on the transformation of informal workers into formal workers in the city of Bandung. This value shows that when welfare is based on high consumption patterns, it will reduce the opportunity for the transformation of informal workers into formal workers in the city of Bandung. Indonesia masih mengalami tahap atau proses untuk membangun perekonomian yang lebih baik agar menjadi sebuah negara yang maju. Tenaga kerja memiliki peran penting dalam proses pembangunan ekonomi. Kebijakan pemerintah dalam infrastruktur dan governance, tenaga kerja menjadi faktor kunci yang dapat mendorong dan mempercepat naik-turunnya daya saing suatu perekonomian. Di Indonesia, pekerja di bagi menjadi 2 yaitu pekerja formal dan pekerja informal. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan sumber data primer dan sekunder. Dalam penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa kesejahteraan berdasarkan pola konsumsi berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap transformasi pekerja informal menuju pekerja formal di Kota Bandung. Nilai tersebut menunjukkan ketika kesejahteraan berdasarkan pola konsumsi tinggi, maka akan menurunkan peluang transformasi pekerja informal menuju pekerja formal di Kota Bandung.
