The synthesised cadmium oxide was CdO. The structure of the CdO was face-centred cubic. Magnetic susceptibility measurements showed that there were no unpaired electrons in CdO. Hence, CdO is diamagnetic in nature. The exact size of the cadmium oxide was found using SEM.
