It is an evaluation of the awareness of primary school students about waste management and recycling as a result of the implementation of the 'Zero Waste Project' carried out by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. The research was conducted with qualitative method. The study group of the research consists of 28 teachers, 3 school administrators and 37 parents selected by simple random sampling method, teaching 883 students attending a primary school in Etimesgut district of Ankara. In the research, the interview form was used as a data collection tool. In this interview form, after the questions about the participant's status relative to the student and the grade level, there are questions about the project and the awareness of waste management and recycling that has developed in the students. The data were evaluated by the content review method. As a result of the research, it was determined that the Zero Waste Project created awareness among students about waste management and recycling and resulted in behavioral changes. It has been revealed that waste battery collection and recycling exhibition activities contributed the most to the formation of this awareness. Students' sensitivity to waste is highest in the form of batteries and lowest in the form of wood waste. It is recommended to increase the number of projects aimed at increasing and disseminating activities in order to increase students' awareness of waste management and recycling and to maximize their sensitivity in all types of waste. 摘要
