Based on this awareness of the problem, this study intends to develop and operate a program to improve pre-service teachers’ teaching profession and character education competency, and verify the effectiveness. During the 2021 Spring semester, 148 pre-service teachers, in a college of education located in Chungbuk Province, were participated in this research. The curriculum included several areas of teaching profession, character education, multi-cultural education, and civic education. In order to verify the effectiveness of this program, pre- and post-survey were conducted and analyzed with t-tests. In the statistics, pre-service teachers’ teaching profession and character education efficacy were significantly improved. 摘要
