RURAL FAMILY ORIENTATION TOWARDS SOME SOCIAL VALUES IN BAHARIYA OASIS

: The study mainly aimed to determine the relative importance of the sub-axes used to measure the level of value orientation, describe its levels for the respondents in the study area, and determine the differences between the levels of value orientation, between the two patterns of value orientation studied (the end and the means) in addition to identifying the nature of the possible correlation between the level of value orientation of the respondents (the pattern of the end and the means), and the variables of the study, and finally identify the most important causes of value imbalances and proposals to solve them from the respondents’ point of view. The comprehensive was represented in the total number of heads of rural families in the village of Bawiti in Bahariya Oasis, and a random sample of them was selected, the size of the sample reached 276 heads of households, and several statistical methods were used, as percentages, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and frequency distribution tables were used, in order to display and describe data, multiple regression coefficient, and chi-square.
