This research is a quantitative research. The results showed that the lower the emotional support from the family, the lower the adherence to taking medication in acute psychotic patients. The lower the family support in the esteem support aspect, the lower the medication adherence in acute psychotic patients. The lower the family support in the instrumental support aspect, the lower the medication adherence in acute psychotic patients. The lower the family support in the informational support aspect, the lower the medication adherence in acute psychotic patients.
