Policy makers need to take into account the views of the public in order to provide support for the policies they will pursue. In this study, which was conducted using quantitative research methods, a scale was developed to determine the electricity generation preferences of individuals. Within the scope of the study, the validity and reliability analyses of this scale, whose items were developed by the researchers based on the literature review, were carried out. The results of the analyses show that the items under different factors exemplify similar behaviors and the internal consistency of the scale is high. The scale consists of 15 items and three sub-dimensions related to renewable, nuclear and thermal energy sources.
