The review will be reported in accordance with the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. A 3-step search strategy will be used to locate published and unpublished studies in MEDLINE, CINAHL, Embase, PsycINFO, AgeLine, LILACS, African Index Medicus, ProQuest Dissertations and Theses, Open Dissertations, Web of Science Core Collection, and Google Scholar. There will be no date or language limitations. All studies will be screened against the inclusion criteria and data will be extracted and critically appraised for methodological quality by 2 independent reviewers using JBI tools.
