This will require intersectionality evidence of the optimised staffing to PHC workload, that PHC practitioners' training demonstrates evidence-based knowledge aligned with locally relevant expertise.</p>\n </section>\n \n <section>\n \n <h3> Conclusion</h3>\n \n <p>Critical for equitable PHC access and health equity is the establishment of efficient measurement of PHC workforce equity and its implications for population health. This study provides an overview of the main PHC workforce policy questions related to health equity, offering examples of evidence necessary to support the implementation of policies and strategies that increase equity in the health workforce and access to the PHC workforce and services.
