In the current article, Durmaz et al. determined that there was a statistically significant increase in the patients' sleep quality and a significant decrease in their pain levels, starting from the 4th day of applying back massage to palliative care patients for 7 days (1). Pain may occur in patients in palliative care centers due to various reasons.
