Through a series of in-depth interviews with 8 language learners and 3 teachers, this study examines how ChatGPT can enhance language learners' critical thinking skills, digital literacy, and ability to navigate digital environments. The study also explores the challenges and opportunities of integrating ChatGPT into language learning pedagogy, as well as the ethical and social issues related to its use.
