Estudo de Caso Sobre a Realização de Evento On-Line em Tempos de Isolamento Social: o Alcance da Interdisciplinaridade no Meio Acadêmico com o Auxílio das Plataformas Digitais

Este artigo busca analisar quais os principais efeitos provocados pela realização de um evento científico em formato on-line no que tange à promoção da interdisciplinaridade e o alcance geográfico do evento. Para tanto, foi considerado o IV Workshop de Economia, realizado em 2020 pelo curso de Economia da UFRPE- sede, através do canal “Núcleo Econômico Integrado'' no YouTube. Trata-se de pesquisa quantitativa, que se configura em estudo de caso, utilizando fonte de dados primários. Dados relacionados ao IV Workshop de Economia, realizado na modalidade on-line (2020), foram comparados aos dados do workshop realizado em 2019, em formato presencial. Vale salientar que o IV Workshop foi realizado em formato on-line para atender à exigência do isolamento social imposto pela pandemia do COVID-19. Os dados foram obtidos através das inscrições on-line, viabilizadas por plataformas digitais (Sympla e Wix). Os inscritos, em ambos os eventos, foram atraídos por uma temática interdisciplinar. As análises comparativas apresentaram que o evento on-line obteve maior capilaridade no que se refere à interdisciplinaridade, bem como proporcionou maior alcance geográfico quando a intenção era atingir outras áreas de conhecimento, além da Economia. Adicionalmente, o mencionado evento on-line promoveu a capilaridade necessária para atingir outras instituições e Estados brasileiros. O evento realizado no formato on-line corroborou a ideia de que é possível utilizar a tecnologia digital em prol da propagação do conhecimento, proporcionando maiores interações entre pessoas, diversos saberes e instituições. AbstractThis article aims to analyze the main outcomes of a scientific event held in the on-line format regarding the promotion of interdisciplinarity and the geographical scope of the event. For this purpose, it was considered the IV Workshop de Economia (IV Workshop of Economics), which took place in 2020 by the Economics course of UFRPE, through the YouTube channel “Núcleo Econômico Integrado". It addresses quantitative research, which constitutes a case study using a source of primary data. Data from the IV Workshop de Economia, held on-line (2020), were compared to data from the 2019 workshop, held in person. It is worth mentioning that the IV Workshop took place on-line to meet the requirements of social isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The data was obtained from on-line applications, facilitated by digital platforms (Sympla and Wix). The applicants, in both events, were attracted by an interdisciplinary thematic. The comparative analyses showed that the on-line event obtained more capillarity regarding interdisciplinarity and provided a larger geographic scope when the intention was to reach other knowledge fields besides Economics. Additionally, the on-line event mentioned promoted the capillarity needed to reach other institutions and Brazilian states. The event held in the on-line format supported the idea that it is possible to use digital technology on behalf of spreading knowledge, providing more interaction between people, several pieces of knowledge, and institutions.
