There is still no single concept of understanding the linguistic personality with theoretical and methodological positions. However, it is obvious that the variety of positions on this linguistic object allows one to refer to various kinds of material: in particular, modern Russian novel. The novel My Children represents relevant and valuable material for study if it is considered from the perspective of the anthropocentric paradigm of linguistics. This is due to the presence in the novel of a large number of linguistic personalities, interesting both in their verbal-semantic component, as well as in their cognitive and pragmatic ones. The relevance of the chosen topic is also motivated by the linguistic personality of the writer Guzel Yakhina herself, who is a bilingual philologist, which cannot but be reflected in the language of her works.
