It was collaborative classroom action research conducted in three cycles. The subjects were teachers and 25 students of third grade at SDN 3 Tamanwinangun. The data were qualitative and quantitative. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and tests. Data validity used triangulation of source and triangulation of technique. The implementation of TTW and flash cards improved writing skills about effective sentences to third grade students of SDN 3 Tamanwinangun in academic year of 2022/2023. The average percentages of passing grades were 72% in the first cycle, 84% in the second cycle, and 92% in the third cycle.
