Moreover, due to the tremendous disagreement among the clinical practice guidelines and approaches to viral bronchiolitis, the new intersociety consensus document also aimed to unify diagnostic and therapeutic criteria, reinforce the current recommendations, and integrate the most recent advances for optimal care of viral bronchiolitis.
