APRENDIZADOS ENTRE PRÁTICA E TEORIA NO PROJETO DE EXTENSÃO

RESUMO O presente artigo tem como objetivo socializar a dupla experiência entre a prática e a teoria de um grupo de bolsistas dos cursos de Pedagogia e Arquitetura e Urbanismo que participaram do projeto de extensão “Com Olhos de Criança: análise dos espaços e das relações no Complexo Educacional Bairro da Juventude pelas crianças dos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental” da Universidade do Extremo Sul Catarinense (UNESC). O contato com as crianças no campo de atuação e a busca por um referencial teórico que desse maior sentido para o projeto, modificou a forma como o grupo de discentes olhava para as crianças e a cidade, rompendo concepções “adultocêntricas” e acolhendo uma nova forma de pensar o desenvolvimento das infâncias. A prática aconteceu no Bairro da Juventude, escola que recebe diariamente crianças de todos os bairros de Criciúma que vivem em estado de vulnerabilidade social. A teoria fundamentou-se nas leituras de algumas obras do professor Francesco Tonucci, que ao discutir a relação entre infância e cidade, deu sentido a tudo aquilo que foi realizado na prática. Ambas as experiências geraram o resultado desse artigo: um grupo de futuros profissionais sensíveis aos apelos das infâncias. Logo, esse texto apresenta a importância da união entre prática e teoria para a boa formação daqueles que estão envolvidos em projetos de pesquisa e extensão. Palavras-chave: Práxis. Extensão. Protagonismo.   ABSTRACT This article aims to socialize the double experience between the practice and theory of a group of scholarship holders of the Pedagogy and Architecture and Urbanism courses that participated in the extension project "With Eyes of Children: analysis of spaces and relationships in the Youth Neighborhood Educational Complex by children in the early years of elementary school" of the University of the Extreme South of Santa Catarina (UNESC). The contact with children in the field of action and the search for a theoretical framework that gave greater meaning to the project, modified the way the group of students looked at children and the city, breaking "adultcentric" conceptions and welcoming a new way of thinking about the development of childhood. The practice happened in Bairro da Juventude, a school that receives daily children from all neighborhoods of Criciúma who live in a state of social vulnerability. The theory was based on the readings of some works of teacher Francesco Tonucci, who when discussing the relationship between childhood and city, gave meaning to everything that was accomplished in practice. Both experiences generated the result of this article: a group of future professionals sensitive to the appeals of childhood. Therefore, this text presents the importance of the union between practice and theory for the good formation of those who are involved in research and extension projects. Keyword: Praxis. Extension.
