A rare presentation of unilateral posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome following a trivial head trauma
Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome is typically a reversible clinico‐radiological entity associated with some specific features on brain imaging. However, there are several atypical radiological presentations. Unilateral presentation of this condition has rarely been reported in past and may mimic other pathologies. Here, we report a very rare case of atypical, unilateral posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome in a 25‐year‐old female following a trivial head injury. All other relevant secondary causes had been ruled out.
