Innovating the Method of Determining the List of Science and Technology Tasks to Serve the Local Economy and Society: Case Study of Ninh Thuan Province

The current method for determining the portfolio of scientific and technological tasks for Ninh Thuan province up to 2025 share some several similarities with the current approach, but also significant differences and innovations. Instead of annually announcing task orders, Ninh Thuan identifies priority tasks based on the directives and policies of the Party and the government as well as local practical needs. Subsequently, it formulates specialized resolutions regarding the direction and resources to establish a solid foundation for implementation. Simultaneously, it develops a list of scientific and technological tasks along the long-term value chain in stages to proactively engage local, central, and societal ideas and resources.
