RM and EP are methods that increase the permeation of cosmetics and active components into the skin by using microscopic channel formed when the skin barrier is damaged by electric stimulation. And glutathione is antioxidant component. For a study, a total of 42 study subjects (RM group 21 subjects and EP group 21 subjects) used a combination of at-home beauty device and a cosmetic containing glutathione on the face. Effectiveness assessments were conducted at 2 and 4 weeks, including the first visit. They all improved skin pores, pigmentation, and skin tone. The effectiveness assessment results showed that total pore area, feret's diameter were significantly (p<.05) improved after 2 weeks use in the test area compared to the control area, and pigmentation, skin tone was significantly (p<.05) improved after 4 weeks use in the test area compared to the control area. This result shows that the efficacy of glutathione as a cosmetic ingredient and the use of at-home beauty device combined with RM and EP functions are effective in improving skin.
