Skin cancer survivorship and sun protection behaviors in the United States
Skin cancer survivors are more vulnerable to subsequent skin cancers and other malignancies, but previous studies have not examined in detail their sun protection behavior prevalence by sociodemographic factors. We aimed to understand the sociodemographic disparities in the prevalence of three important types of sun protection behaviors: using sunscreen, seeking shade, and wearing protective clothing, among skin cancer survivors and those without skin cancer history.

The divisions of the editorial board reflect areas of specific interest: aging, carcinogenesis, immunology, instrumentation and optics, lasers, photodynamic therapy, photosensitivity, pigmentation and therapy. Photodermatology, Photoimmunology & Photomedicine includes original articles, reviews, communications and editorials. Original articles may include the investigation of experimental or pathological processes in humans or animals in vivo or the investigation of radiation effects in cells or tissues in vitro. Methodology need have no limitation; rather, it should be appropriate to the question addressed.
