It is shown that, for the majority of existing types of wear-resistant coatings used in various branches of production, plasma sputtering of coatings using argon and nitrogen as the plasma-forming gas may replace the application of wear-resistant coatings using compressed air as the plasma-forming gas. Influence of the Composition of a Plasma-Forming Gas on the Properties of Wear-Resistant Coatings Applied by Gas-Thermal Methods
Abstract
