Among environmental exposures the effect of ionizing radiation was confirmed, the identification of other potential risk factors requires further examinations. 7-10 percent of brain tumors were hereditary tumor syndromes (Li-Fraumeni, neurofibromatosis, sclerosis tuberosa, von Hippel-Lindau, Gorlin- Goltz).
