Dr. Kaestle was a professor in the Department of Human Development and Family Science at Virginia Tech College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences, and was a longtime member of the journal's Editorial Advisory Committee. She could always be relied on to share her thoughtful insights in the areas of adolescent sexual and reproductive health, gender‐based violence and sexual behavior, and was a valued participant in our publishing community.
