First report of black leaf spot on Atractylodes lancea caused by Alternaria gaisen in Japan

Leaves of Atractylodes lancea, used in traditional Chinese and Japanese herbal medicines developed irregular-shaped brown lesions in Ibaraki, Japan in 2020.
