Skin-related complications, particularly skin erosion, may lead to exposure of the DBS device, compromising the effectiveness of the DBS device. We presented a patient who suffered from skin erosion over bilateral burr hole site. A Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) approach was used to provide staged surgical treatment for scalp reconstruction. Without the removal of the DBS system.
