Therefore, this study aims to examine the types of teaching strategies are applied by teacher in teaching speaking after the Covid-19 pandemic at SMPN 264 Jakarta as well they way teachers implement them. Data was collected by applying observation and interview with three English teachers. The method implemented in this research is qualitative with a case study approach, data analysis was conducted in three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The result of this study reveals that there are five strategies implemented by teachers in teaching speaking skills after the Covid-19 pandemic, they are: discussion, role-play, picture describing, storytelling, and drill. It is also shown that the teachers implement those strategy in various ways and learning topics. 摘要

为了在英语课堂上培养学生的口语能力,教师需要根据学生的需要、目的和情境制定各种策略。因此,本研究旨在研究雅加达SMPN 264在2019冠状病毒病大流行后教师在教学演讲中应用的教学策略类型,以及教师实施这些策略的方式。采用观察法和访谈法对三名英语教师进行数据收集。本研究采用定性的案例研究法,数据分析分为数据还原、数据展示、得出结论三个阶段。研究结果显示,新冠肺炎疫情后,教师在口语教学中实施了五种策略,分别是讨论、角色扮演、图片描述、讲故事和练习。研究还表明,教师通过不同的方式和学习主题来实施这些策略。本研究的结果有望为后续教师口语教学策略的研究提供基础
