This paper reviews the significant contribution of urban parks to the physical and psychological health benefits. The literature demonstrates that the presence of a natural environment has substantial positive effects on an individual's physical and psychological health. It emphasized the role of urban parks in reducing stress and depression symptoms, promoting physiologically healthier individuals during an outbreak of a pandemic, enhancing the quality of life and life satisfaction, providing entertainment and relaxation, and fostering greater social interaction and cohesion.
