On the basis of the classification of STEM, the paper aims to present its role and needs in teaching to improve students' skills in applying interdisciplinary knowledge. It is very necessary to apply an effective combination of learned theories and knowledge to solve real-life problems in order to consolidate, improve knowledge and help students develop their character either creativity problem solving or subject-specific competencies.
