Single-pixel wavefront sensing via vectorial polarization modulation
The Shack – Hartmann wavefront sensor (SHWFS) is commonly used for its high speed and precision in adaptive optics. However, its performance is limited in low light conditions, particularly when observing faint objects in astronomical applications.
