As an important part of Chinese culture, regional culture not only promotes the development of dialects, but also helps to strengthen the deeper understanding of Chinese culture in the neighbouring countries, so dialect teaching occupies a certain position in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language. However, dialect teaching has a long way to go.
