Penurunan fungsi tubuh tersebut meningkatkan resiko jatuh akibat sendi dan otot kurang mampu menjaga keseimbangan tubuh penyebab lanjut usia jatuh. Pendidikan Kesehatan tentang resiko jatuh pada lansia dan pencegahan yang dapat dilakukan melalui senam keseimbangan merupakan solusi yang ditawarkan dalam kegiatan ini. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan lanjut usia tentang resiko jatuh dan pencegahan yang dapat dilakukan dengan senam keseimbangan. Metode kegiatan berupa pendidikan kesehatan menggunakan media power point dan booklet tentang resiko jatuh pada lanjut usia serta demonstrasi senam keseimbangan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan lanjut usia tentang resiko jatuh yang mungkin terjadi bagi lanjut usia berdasarkan hasil pretest dan posttest melalui kuesioner yang diberikan sebelum dan setelah pendidikan kesehatan diberikan serta keaktifan selama mengikuti kegiatan dan demonstrasi senam keseimbangan. Kegiatan ini bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan lanjut usia tentang resiko jatuh akibat pertambahan usia dan pencegahan melalui senam keseimbangan. This decrease in body function increases the risk of falling due to joints and muscles not being able to maintain body balance which causes the elderly to fall. Health education about risk of falling and prevention that can be done through balance exercises are the solutions offered in this activity. This community service activity aims to improve elderly’s knowledge about the risk of falling and prevention through balance exercises. The activity method is in the form of health education using powerpoint and booklets about the risk of falling in the elderly as well as demonstrating balance exercises. The results of this activity showed that there was an increase in the elderly’s knowledge about the risk of falling that might occur for the elderly based on the results of the pre-test and post-test through questionnaires given before and after health education was given and activeness during participating in this activities and demonstration of balance exercise. this community service activity is useful in increasing the knowledge of the elderly about the risk of falling due to age and prevention through balance exercise. 摘要

Sosialisasi Tentang Pencegahan Resiko Jatuh dan Senam Keseimbangan Bagi Lanjut Usia
