The article is devoted to the study of the development of entrepreneurial and managerial competencies and their impact on business success. It has been proven that since managers perform other activities every day, not only managerial, but also solve various issues, specific problems, analyze changes, that is why they need the development of entrepreneurial and managerial competencies, on the basis of which they will make decisions in the future. Therefore, the defining personal qualities of a modern business manager should be intelligence, the ability to calculate the situation, and at the highest level - not so much to manage as to negotiate, the ability to work in a team, reflect, take responsibility for one's own choices, be communicative, mobile, honest, etc. The manager's competencies(abilities)in the article can be understood asthe manager's real abilities, knowledge and experience, which he must use as effectively as possible to achieve business goals.
