INFLUENCE OFMORPHOMETRIC RELIEF INDICATORS ON THE RECREATIONAL POTENTIAL BETWEENMAZYMCHAI AND SHINCHAYI

The study area has rich natural resources in terms of tourism and recreation. The places of treatment and rest in Azerbaijan were highly appreciated in studies conducted at the beginning of the last century. Factors such as rich customs and traditions, the hospitality of the peoples living here also open up great opportunities for the development of the tourism sector. However, despite such a rich tourist resource, the morphometric indicators of the relief influence their development in different ways. Proper placement, assimilation, as well as the possibilities of using these resources, highlight the importance of studying the influence of the relief more deeply and accurately in specific areas. The complex geological and geomorphological structure of the study area has led to uneven morphometric indicators of the relief. For this reason, the region differs in the activity of natural disasters, such as floods, landslides, avalanches, etc. Since the region differs in tourism potential, in such a situation it is advisable to take into account the morphometric indicators of the relief when building tourist facilities in the area between Mazymchai and Shin-chai.
