Development of students’ creative abilities in the pedagogical heritage of V. A. Sukhomlinsky (on his 105th birthday)

Изучение и осмысление опыта развития творческих способностей учащихся в педагогическом наследии В. А. Сухомлинского (1918–1970) является очень актуальным. С помощью теоретического метода критического анализа нами и другими исследователями работ В. А. Сухомлинского раскрыт новаторский опыт Павлышской средней школы и выделены ценностные аспекты, значимые для формирования творческих способностей учащихся в условиях современного школьного образования. Доказано, что в Павлышской средней школе разработана уникальная система развития творческих возможностей учащихся, учитывающая их возрастные особенности и охватывающая различные виды деятельности. Представление опыта работы Павлышской средней школы как целостного процесса в единстве учебной и внеучебной деятельности и тесном творческом союзе учителей и учащихся содержит элементы научной новизны. Осмысление опыта развития творческих способностей учащихся позволяет свидетельствовать о практической значимости проведенного исследования для современной школы. Его результаты могут быть использованы научными работниками, преподавателями, студентами при изучении истории педагогики и образования, педагогики. Study and application of V. A. Sukhomlinsky’s (1918–1970) pedagogical heritage devoted to developing creative abilities in students remains most relevant even nowadays. Using theoretical critical analysis, the research contributes to fuller understanding of V. A. Sukhomlinsky works, revealing the pedagogue’s experience in the secondary school of Pavlysh settlement and highlighting the value aspects that are significant for the formation of students’ creative abilities in the conditions of modern school education. It is proved that the Pavlysh secondary school developed a unique system for developing the creative abilities of its students, taking into account their age characteristics and covering various types of activities. The paper presents the experience of the Pavlysh secondary school as an integral process, uniting educational and extracurricular activities and cooperation of creative teachers and students, with obvious input of scientific novelty. Understanding this experience of developing creativity in students allows us to testify to the practical significance of the study for modern school practices. The results can be used by scholars, educators and students in the study of the history of pedagogy and education.
