Linking Attitudes, Satisfaction and Needs to Teachers’ Professional Development in Medical Universities
Using 694 teachers from local medical universities in China as the research sample, the study hypothesis was based on the two-factor theory, which explored the relevance of teachers' attitudes, satisfaction, needs, and the promotion of their professional development. The hypothesis was formulated and tested. It was found that teachers' attitudes, needs, and satisfaction were all negatively related to teachers' professional development. Finally, recommendations are made from three perspectives: attitudes, satisfaction, and needs.
