Current leadership strategies are proving ineffective and outdated. While many prevalent leadership styles have positive outcomes, they are incapable of leading organizations in a new, complex, and progressively dynamic environment. Effective leadership in contemporary society must consider a holistic approach that pushes beyond mere temporal values to call leaders to a higher standard of living and performance. This paper presents an overview of the literature on current leadership patterns and introduces a new approach influenced by the Christian virtues of service and humility.
