Sample: 104 adults (66 employed, 38 unemployed), aged 27—55. Methods: a set of methods to evaluate different com¬ponents of psycho-emotional wellbeing, and the Semantic Differential of Life Situ¬ation. Results: life situation is perceived most negatively by the unemployed with a low level of psycho-emotional wellbeing. With the growth of psycho-emotional wellbeing, the perception of situation by the unemployed becomes more positive: it seems to be safe, friendly, definite, and normative (p<0.01). On the contrary, for the emplyed with high psycho-emotional wellbeing, the perception of life situation is less positive.
