No single person is able to perform professional activities of the operational processes, because business continuity has to be guaranteed also in the case of absence. In this study a mathematic method will be presented which - in knowing processes and individual professional competence levels - determines the expectable length of processes using quantitative methods, depending on the person who fulfils the elementary activities of the process.
