This raises the need for scientists to find biocompatible, affordable medications that are reachable to the masses of underdeveloped countries like India. Tribes rely on abundant biodiversity of food, housing, and wellness, according to traditional awareness with this background, Etlingera linguiformis (CAN) leaves were chosen for their bioactive components and empirical use. The antitumor efficiency of the hydro-alcoholic extract was studied utilising in-vitro cell culture on lung cancer cells, A549. CAN bound polyphenolic fraction was evaluated for the further anticancer potential and was tested for cell viability, apoptosis by Acridine Orange (AO), Intracellular Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) generation, cell cycle analysis, cell proliferation.
