The antenna consists of a Radiating Patch along with a Defected Ground Plane. The proposed antenna has been compared with a similar Radiating Patch without any Defected Ground Structure (DGS) and the results have been discussed with comparison plots. The proposed antenna covers a frequency range of 2.4 GHz to 6.0 GHz with an impedance bandwidth about 85.71 %.
