The system of basic concepts, rules and principles of knowledge engineering in the design of sustainable development is considered. A system of natural-scientific parameters of sustainable innovative development is described, along with rules for their assessment, rules and tasks of sustainable development design and management in the system “nature - society - human”. The block of planning of sustainable innovative development through the functions of monitoring and evaluation of innovations is presented. An example of the structure and tasks of the system of design and management of sustainable development is given, as well as possibilities of its implementation as an e-Iearning system in the field of design and management of sustainable development.
