Precedent Onyms in Political Discourse (based on the Material of the German Language)

В статье раскрываются особенности функционирования прецедентных онимов в немецкоязычном политическом дискурсе. В работе рассматриваются существующие подходы к пониманию термина «прецедентность», отмечается разнообразие подходов к данному понятию, описываются уровни прецедентности, выявляются типы прецедентных онимов (антропонимы, топонимы, мифонимы, библионимы, имена литературных персонажей) и анализируются их функции в немецкоязычном политическом дискурсе. Среди наиболее важных отмечаются прагматическая, оценочная, эвфемистическая. The article reveals the features of the functioning of precedent onyms in the German-Language political discourse. The success of political actions, election results, the politician’s further political career, etc. may depend on his/her choice of language means. The paper examines a variety of approaches to interpreting the term “precedent”, levels of precedent are described. The author identifies types of precedent onyms as anthroponyms, toponyms, mythonyms, biblionyms, names of literary characters and analyses their functions in the German-Language political discourse. Among the most important are the pragmatic, evaluative, and euphemistic functions.
