Therefore, this study measures the effectiveness through health management system to prevent complications after a hip surgery. The experimental and the control group of 83 patients each participated in this study. Health practice for preventing complications was measured by t-test between the two groups with and without intervention of health management system. The results of this study showed 1) muscle strength after a hip surgery has been strengthened after management (t=-4.15, p<.01) and 2) complications decreased significantly by 30-40% after training compared to pre-health management (t=-8.13, p<.01). Therefore, the health management system has proven to be effective in reducing complications after a hip joint surgery.
