Then product gene's new concept and corresponding data structure based on function surface in growth design are put forward. Product gene can be defined as an integrated set of information specifying product's structures and functions and its mechanisms to 'grow' automatically. Furthermore, the work flow of product genetic Engineering and the expression method are proposed. Finally, an example of vise fixture based on product genetic engineering with the application of soft system is introduced.
