Recommendations to Bulgaria for comprehensive healthcare reform in terms of quality of care for diabetes mellitus and improvement of prevention, as well as the lack of long-term state policy, are the reason to make some suggestions and guidelines and make a modest contribution to the development of a combat program with diabetes and its complications, without claiming an exhaustive presentation of the problem under consideration.
