For individual solutions, basic tactical and technical data were\ncharacterised with particular emphasis on the method and “cost” of achieving the maximum range,\nthe associated dispersion, and the ability to reach the target. The second part of this article presents\nthe results of our own research in this area and it presents selected results taking into account variants\nof the projectile. On the basis of the conducted analyses, the recommendations were also presented\nregarding the required characteristics of such ammunition. The mutual dependencies between the\ncharacteristics of the weapons, being introduced or planned for introduction, and the maximum possible\nranges to be obtained were also strongly emphasised. Possibility of increasing the maximum range of ammunition
for the KRAB 155 mm self-propelled gun-howitzer
The article presents methods of increasing the maximum range of artillery projectiles on
the example of 155 mm ammunition. For individual solutions, basic tactical and technical data were
characterised with particular emphasis on the method and “cost” of achieving the maximum range,
the associated dispersion, and the ability to reach the target. The second part of this article presents
the results of our own research in this area and it presents selected results taking into account variants
