The extension accounts for the influence of traveling wave a2 magnitude presented on the output port on the variation of S and T parameters. The inherent relationship between a2 and the S and T parameters has been illustrated theoretically and experimentally. Automated extraction procedure for the extended PHD model is developed which directly utilizes large-signal waveform data.
