They constitute the market where services consumers go to search for a desired Web service. With the proliferation of Web services registries, finding an adequate registry has become a complex task for a service requester. In this paper we propose a semantic model to describe Web services registries (WSRD). WSRD descriptions are functionality-driven since they rely on the registry's Web services description. We also propose an approach for computing WSRD descriptions and mechanisms to handle their updates.
