The Deterrent Reasons from Being in Wretchedness in the Holy Quran (An analytical study)

Abstract: This study aimed at explaining the reasons behind eliminating the wretchedness as it is mentioned in the Holy Quran. The study followed an interpretive methodology in term of collecting relevant verses, depending on the essence of the reasons according to the interpreters’ sayings, and explaining its practical effects on eliminating the wretchedness. An interpretive and inductive methodology was used. The study has been divided and organized into an introduction and two chapters. The introduction includes the study's importance, reasons for its selection and its objectives. The first chapter undertakes the essence of wretchedness and its writing in the Divine-protected tablet. The second chapter presents the deterrent reasons from being in wretchedness. The study was concluded with the most important results I have reached including that the Holy Quran mentioned seven reasons to prevent from being in wretchedness including (prayer, parents’ obedience, monotheism of worship, God fear, following the revelation, God- consciousness, Quran recitation and behaving according to its teachings). Also the keeping away from being in wretchedness is one of the greatest wishes of human being and these reasons alters one another to eliminate the wretchedness in the Abodes and they are diversified, words, actions, and beliefs to make its role easy. Based on the results, a number of recommendations and suggestions were presented calling the society to follow these reasons. الملخص: هدف البحث إلى إبراز أسباب دفع الشقاء كما ذكرها القرآن الكريم، واستخدم الباحث المنهج الاستقرائي التحليلي، وكانت الدراسة ذات منحى تفسيري من حيث جمع الآيات التي تخصّ الموضوع، والاعتماد على شرح مراد الأسباب من أقوال المفسرين المعتبرين وخصوصا الآيات التي تضمنت الأسباب وآثارها العملية، وبيان أثرها العملي في صدّ الشقاء، وقد تم تقسيم الدراسة إلى: مقدمة، ومبحثين: تناول المبحث الأول: ماهية الشقاء وكتابته في اللوح المحفوظ، والمبحث الثاني: تناول الأسباب السبعة المانعة من الشقاء، وختمت بحثي بأهم النتائج التي خلصت إليها، من أبرزها: أن القرآن قد تضمن ذكر سبعة أسباب تدفع درك الشقاء وهي [توحيد الله في العبادة، الدعاء، برّ الوالدين،، خشية الله تعالى، اتباع الوحي، تقوى الله تعالى، تلاوة القرآن والعمل به]، وأن البعد من درك الشقاء من أسمى الأماني التي يسعى لنيلها الإنسان، وأن هذه الأسباب تتناوب بدفع الشقاء الحاصل في الدنيا والآخرة، وهي متنوعة بين الأقوال والأعمال والاعتقادات؛ ليسهل عملها، واستناداً للنتائج قدّم عدد من التوصيات والمقترحات للعمل بهذه الأسباب في المجتمع.
